Math worksheet generator
Choose a topic, set the difficulty, print the sheet — the answer key is generated with it. Free, no account, nothing uploaded.
Everything is generated in your browser. Nothing is uploaded, and no account is needed.
How to use it
- Pick a topic and difficulty. Easy, Medium and Hard change the size of the numbers, not the method — so you can keep the same skill and raise the challenge.
- Set the number of questions and columns. Two columns with 20 questions fits comfortably on one page; four columns suits short drill questions.
- Press New questions as often as you like. Every press produces a genuinely different sheet, so the same child can practise the same skill repeatedly.
- Print. The answer key prints on its own page after the worksheet, so you can keep it or hand it out separately.
Giving every child a different sheet
Use Make 5 different sheets to print five versions at once, each with its own questions and its own answer key. This is the quickest way to stop copying in class without preparing five separate documents. The Sheet number field controls which questions appear: the same number always produces the same sheet, so you can reprint an exact worksheet later, or give one child sheet 3 and another sheet 4.
Choosing the right difficulty
For early addition and subtraction, start on Easy with Avoid carrying / borrowing switched on — the arithmetic stays within a single column, which lets a child concentrate on the number bonds. Switch it off once those are secure. For multiplication, Easy stays inside the times tables up to 10, Medium extends to 12, and Hard introduces two-digit factors.
Frequently asked questions
Is the answer key really included?
Yes. When Include answer key page is ticked, the key prints on a separate page after the worksheet, numbered to match. It is never shown on the worksheet page itself.
Is it free, and do I need an account?
It is free and there is no account, no email and no trial. The worksheets are generated in your browser.
Is any data uploaded?
No. The questions are generated locally in your browser. Nothing you type or generate is sent to a server.
Can I use these worksheets in my classroom?
Yes. You may print, photocopy and distribute them freely, including in schools and tutoring, with no attribution required.
Can I get the same worksheet again later?
Yes. Note the Sheet number. Entering the same topic, difficulty and sheet number always regenerates the identical worksheet and key.
How do I give each child a different sheet?
Press Make 5 different sheets, which prints five versions in one go, each with a matching key. For more, change the sheet number and print again.
Why do some questions repeat on long sheets?
With small number ranges there is a limited pool of possible questions — for example, single-digit addition has only so many combinations. The generator avoids immediate repeats, but on a 60-question Easy sheet some will recur. Raising the difficulty widens the pool.
